Patient information and educational aids

Dear Patient,

The following information describes some of the common services and procedures we perform in our practice. We hope it will help answer some of the questions you may have, or provide you with the information you need to make an informed decision about your dental care. Of course, we are always available to talk to you in person regarding your oral health as well.
Cerec in 5 Steps
CEREC is the world's only system for the fabrication of all ceramic dental restorations in one office visit. With CEREC, you can be in and out in a single visit with a permanent, all ceramic crown, onlay, or veneer For you, the patient, this means fewer injections, less drilling, and less time out of your hectic schedule for dental care. More on Cerec

Usually, when you lose a tooth or teeth, it is best for your oral health to have them replaced. Missing teeth can affect your 'bite' as well as your ability to speak and chew. Their loss can increase the burden on your remaining teeth and can cause muscle pain in your jaws, and cause headaches. Losing a tooth can also affect your general appearance. Dental implants are one of the options available to you to replace missing teeth, and in fact are generally considered by dentists to be a 'preferred' method of treatment. More on Dental Implants

Bone Grafts
Bone grafting is a surgical procedure that replaces missing bone with a bone graft. This material not only replaces missing bone, but also helps your body regrow lost bone. This new bone growth strengthens the grafted area by forming a bridge between your existing bone and the graft. Over time the newly formed bone will replace much of the grafted material. More on Bone Grafts
